Bump Keys have been around since the 1950’s. The good news is they don’t work on every lock. The bad news is they do work on a majority of locks found on homes and businesses in North America. Although some cars and trucks can be ‘bumped,’ ignition systems with a sidebar are not bumpable.

Bump Keys are considered to be break-and-enter tools are are illegal to possess.
